Overview
Buffalo General Hospital's Women's Health Center offers a comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology service staffed by the University at Buffalo OB/GYN physicians and nurse practitioners.
Obstetrical care includes:
- Referrals to WIC (Women and Infant Clinic)
- Dietary assessment with a registered dietician
- Free gift to all first time prenatal appointment visit
- PCAP services for uninsured pregnant patients
- Coordination of high risk pregnancies with Women and Children's Hospital
The Women's Clinic offers a wide array of Gynecological services including:
- Pap smears
- Intrauterine devices (IUD's)
- Colposcopy
- STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) testing and treatment
- Menopause management
- Treatment of fibroids
- Reproductive endocrine disorders
- Contracepetive management
